This 278.5 ton class Y3a Mallet articulated locomotive was built in ALCO's Richmond shops in 1923. It has 57" drivers, 25" x 32" high-pressure cylinders and 39" x 32" low-pressure cylinders. It is on display at the Illinois Railroad Musuem, Union, Illinois. |
