The K in the classification indicates that the locomotive is of the 2-8-2 type, and the 27 indicates that it has approximately 27,000 lbs. tractive power. The locomotive has 40" drivers and 17" x 20" drivers. It weighs 105,425 lbs. over the drivers. It is in operation on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, Chama, New Mexico. |
