Rockton & Rion 20 is large as 0-4-0T switchers go. It has 44" drivers, 16" x 24" cylinders, and weighs 45 tons. It was built at ALCO's Schenectedy plant in 1905. It has a large air tank on the right, and there is a bracket on the left side of the smokebox that looks like it once supported an airpump. The locomotive is on display outside a skateboard shop a few miles north of Cleveland, Georgia, on route 75. | |
