Pennsylvania Railroad 7002 (4-4-2)


This was originally PRR 8063, a class a class E2a Atlantic (4-4-2) later converted to a class E7s. It was renumbered for the 1949 Chicago World's Fair to portray the class E3s locomotive that set a land speed record of 127.1 miles per hour in 1905. This locomotive was built in 1905 in the railroad's Juniata shops. The E3s class had 80" drivers and 22" x 26" cylinders. They weighed 175,400 lbs. The original PRR 7002 was built in 1902.
