Splint-Jellico Coal Company 3 (0-4-0T)


This engine was built by Glover Machine Works of Marietta, Georgia, the last company in the southern United States to produce steam locomotives. Built in 1927, this locomotive bears construction number 7128 indicating that it is locomotive number 8 that Glover built with 7" x 18" cylinders. The locomotive has been restored and is on display in the Kennesaw Civil War Museum in Kennesaw, Georgia.
